In Arizona child support modification may be accomplished upon a showing of a substantial and continuing change in circumstances that results in a 15% or more change in the child support amount. According to the Arizona Child Support Guidelines there are 2 methods: the simplified version or the standard version.
TIME TO RESPOND TO PETITION TO MODIFY CHILD SUPPORT
If the opposing party is served a Petition to Modify Child Support within Arizona they have 21 days to request a hearing. If they were served outside of Arizona they have 30 days to request a hearing!!
